Porto Domus Hotel is a 3-star hotel located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The hotel is known for its unique location, which is just 2 km from the historic and tourist area. Guests can find a store across the street and some great food nearby. The hotel features clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great air conditioning system that works very well. However, the hotel has received mixed reviews. While some guests have had an excellent experience, others have described the hotel as overrated, with poor maintenance, and poor value for money. Despite this, the hotel's staff is widely known to be very friendly and welcoming. If you are planning to stay at Porto Domus Hotel, you should consider the reviews before making a reservation.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel. More like an average 2 star. Common areas old and tired. Rooms cheaply remodeled and are already tired and in poor repair. Pictures of Headboard peeling, shower head pulling out of wall, and shower door corrosion. All 4 pillows cheap and had gone very lumpy. Bare bones room that is not maintained properly. Common area dated, boring with stains all over carpets. Priced the same as many 4 star hotels in the area. Staff unfriendly and do the bare minimum but not quite to tbe extent I would describe as rude (just indifferent and sour faced). The postive: air conditioner worked well. Nice firm beds. Clean sheets. Lots of hot water. Free self serve cake and coffee station in lobby. Quiet location with store accross the street. About 2 k from historic/tourist area. Some great food close by.
Summary: hotel is over rated, in poor condition and poor value
We would Not recommend you stay here when so many better value hotels exists in Porto.
Such an amazing customer service, location and rate. Unfortunately there was a construction site right beside with a huge noise from 8am-6pm. I think the hotel should advise the customers prior to bookin, if the construction is still in place. I will be back for sure.
Excellent hotel, with really friendly staff, clean rooms and set in a great location, the free coffe / cake stand is always topped up and freely available to guests
Highly recommended
Some of the staff is more hospitable than others, but overall a good experience. Great location, very convenient that there is a small market across the street too. Room 111 was a pretty good room with a large bathroom that had more than adequate water pressure for showering. Wish the windows had screens, but maybe that is not a thing here. Convenient and rather affordable breakfast setup. Also has a tv lounge, small bar area, and smoking courtyard area.
Hotel located in center area. Room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable, way too hard. I would recommend for short stays. In my case, if I return to Porto I would stay at another hotel due to the bed.
Great location near city center. Comfortable rooms. Small breakfast area would be only downside. Great to stay for short trip.
I give just one star as I can't evaluate something that I didn't have. Our flight was cancelled the same morning of the reservation so we couldn't arrive in Porto and the hotel didn't have empathy with us. I can understand they charge one night for the inconvenience but charging all nights was unfair. Maybe they could have offered to change dates or something after they charge all nights without being in Porto to enjoy the hotel. I will go to Porto but I won't choose this hotel as they have no empathy with clients.
Nice Hotel at a good price. Central position. The room was quite big. The only negative aspect was that instead of the regular shampoo/bodywash bottles, there were only limited samples (one too small per person).
